Journal 4 (Netiquette)

1 and 2.What I find most surprising is the Terms of Service. Companies know that people aren't going to read their 50 pages of nonsense before they use their product, and they use this to their advantage.  Companies like Sony put it in their ToS that you are unable to sue them once you accept it. One company actually stated that they would give
$1000 to anyone who seen and called a phone number in their ToS, just to prove that no one reads them. People should definitely read the ToS as it may legally bind them into a deal they had no idea existed.

3. I would give myself a 5/10. I'm pretty neutral online, while I do insult some people I also help quite a few. I'd like to think that those balance themselves out.

4. If I took anything out of this unit it is to read or at least google Terms of Services before accepting them.

5. I think the biggest issue for young people are the comments they make. Since they're anonymous they think they're invincible leading out to quite a lot of insults being thrown.
