Communication Compass (Assignment One)
1. Electronic transmission of information that has been encoded digitally (as for storage and processing by computers)
2. The biggest advantage of digital communication is being able to talk to your friends from practically anywhere. You get an instant response. No paper is used for long distance messages. And are able to talk to emergency services no matter where you're located. These do have downsides of course. People get addicted and may stay on their phones. They result in more car crashes due to people talk while driving and they are another bill to pay.
3.Texting is one of the most popular forms of communication, you can quickly type out a short message to send to friends or family. Phone calls are for longer, more complex conversations. Emails, while not as popular as the other two, are good for sending over files or for more formal conversations.
4.The biggest one are emails, People are much more likely to just call or text then send a long and detailed email. Besides that, some apps like Twitter or Vine and the like may end up being phased out. In fact, Vine is currently in the process of shutting down.
5. First and foremost, Driving is obvious, it risks the life of you and everyone around you. A funeral, marriage or library are obvious going to be regarded as disrespectful. And somewhere like a court may end up with you in prison.
6. Websites like Omegle that match you up with a random stranger and the two of you talk through webcam and microphone, this should be self explanatory. Besides that, social media. People have a tendency to put A LITTLE TOO MUCH information on accounts visible to all.
7.While I think that children should be introduced to computer and the internet at a relatively young age, the amount of time it's used should be monitored. Today there are a lot of people that are addicted to technology and I presume that in the next generation, the power going out would be like cutting off their oxygen supply.
8.Well if someone decided to avoid Social media, they should delete their account, if it's something like facebook they can reactivate it at any time. If they are dead then I think their account should be turned into something of a memorial.

Journal One:Digital Security
1.The thing I found most surprising when it comes to Digital Security and passwords is that people actually use the passwords on the list. You would think that people could think of things more complex then "12345" or "Password"
2.The thing I found most confusing or difficult was actually the math section, I spent 5 minutes on it only to find out that I forgot that you have to square them.
3.I'd say that my passwords are relatively secure. On that password, checker, thing my main one got 9 months. I don't think that an actual person would guess it though.
4. I think that the most simple and important thing to remember is to never give your passwords out. It's just asking for people to log on it.

Digital Security (Assignment One)
1. All the passwords are easy to guess, things such as 12345 and 123456789 are the first things that come to mind to me, when trying to think of a password. Some things like qwerty are a little harder because most people don't know the meaning of the letters.
2. I have not used any of these in particular, but I have used some pretty similar things. I however, only use them on accounts that I genuinely don't care about, such as websites where I expect to only log in once anyway.
3. I imagine that adults are more likely to do things such as this. This is a stereotype but I'm guessing that most seniors don't know the severity of having an easy to guess password. The easiest way to help is to just inform them.
4. A pets name
A family members name
Both of these make it really easy for anyone who knows you to get into your accounts
And fruit (Apple for example)
5.A password doesn't need to be long, to be strong. But I think that a password should be at least 6 characters long.
2. 1/72 x 1/72 x 1/72 x 1/72 1/72 x 1/72 x 1/72 x 1/72

Hercules Code
1.The password provided is considered the best, and says that it would take 621 centuries to crack.
2.My usual passwords:9 months
2 days
3.I couldn't think of anything so I just wrote down the model of my family's truck. It works.

Toon Town Photo Bomb
I took a scene from Roadrunner, It was simply the first cartoon that came to mind.
I put in Donald Trump, and a bootleg variant of his notorious wall behind. It just fit in.
You can see in this picture that my work would not even be near the level required to work in the films industry, although it might be quite an amusing

Monster Mash
Nothing really inspired me, although I obviously did take a lot of hints from the example on the assignment page. I mostly made it out of circles.
The assignment wasn't that hard in general, i'd say that the hardest part for me was learning the tools I used to make it. The easiest part was the eye of the monster.

Be True to Your School
The Design is effective as it shows off our two main logos.
The most challenging part for me was removing the white that surrounded the logos, it wasn't that big of an issue for the eagle but it was for the circle, as you can clearly see. The easiest part was putting the eagle logo in general. I just had to change it's size.
I'm not really interested in digital art and design, i'm not exactly good at it and while kind of fun, I assume that it would be quite boring after a couple images.
It depends, as I said above I really am not a fan of editing photos, it really depends on the pay.

Before the War

I selected the photo that I did as it seemed easier in general. While there was more to do it would be easier to cover up the gashes in the photo.
The most challenging part of the photo for me was the guys head, as you can obviously see in the picture, I failed horribly at it, the easiest part was probably either the gate door or the tall grass near the building.
I've never retouched a photo before. And I would not want to do this as a job, merely because it's so time consuming for a most likely meagre paying job.

Freak of Nature
I selected the crow for the stupid expression on it's face, and the bear as a body as it was the best match I could find for the crows colour.
Overall the project was really easy for me, as there is only two components. The hardest part was learning how to use the program in general.
It looks relatively realistic, well, as realistic as a photoshopped animal can look.
I've never used a photo editor before
